 Ordering Process

  1. Select a snapshot; (You probably already have it on your iphone, in your in basket, or just saw it on facebook. It is the one that makes you smile). don’t over edit or worry about resolution. We are about capturing essence and can work with most images. Composition is a major component of the finished work, so leave that to us. Also, you may want to send us couple supplementary photos from different angles that we can use as reference. Don’t send professionally taken photos unless you have permission to use them.
  2. When you share with us your intended use (living room wall, calendar, event, memorial, book cover, christmas card, etc.), your creations will be sure to be appropriate A sentence or two about the photo and your emotion would help us create the perfect memory.
  3. Decide vertical or horizontal orientation, select a style, and add it to your shopping cart.

 

Options

  • the artists sketch : $40
  • the artist’s rendering: $60 per first pair of eyes ($40 for each additional pair of eyes)
  • multiple styles of the same image — contact us

 

  • houses, cars, flowers,  gifts, sports memorabilia, as well as “fur children”, $50 per pair of eyes
  • scanned pencil drawing $60 per pair of eyes ($40 for each additional pair of eyes)
  • mail original copy of pencil drawing: $25
  • digital actions: $30 – you can watch the drawing unfold in video format
  • using this image commercially or reselling it — contact us
  • traditional art commision (oil paintings, water colors, pastels, prisma color) — contact us

Order Completion

When you complete your order, you will receive a confirmation email from us, with an estimated completion date. You can expect an email with a low resolution nicely begun rendering. We will request your input at this time. Here is what we will ask for.

  • Are we on track with your preferences and style?
  • Have we begun to capture the essence of your memory?
  • Give us some direction, such as:
    • I would like to see more of __________
    • I would like to see less of ______________
    • I like ________________
    • I love __________________
  • Is there anything else we should know before proceeding? ie–she looks a little sad, or her mouth doesn’t look quite like her, or that ring on her hand is really important.

 

Completed Rendering

Soon you will receive the nearly completed rendering. We will then ask the following:

  • How are the details and features?
  • Any suggestions?

Or you will say “Sign it! I love it!”

When we get to that point, we will be delighted to send your, full resolution jpeg or tiff file. If we are mailing an original drawing, it will be shipped at that time, too.

As you enjoy and share your artwork, you will, of course, tell everyone you know to visit OriginalArt Gallery. You will also be creating new memories for us to render and will send them right to us, so we can do it all over again.
